Stoneware clay collared cremation urn with custom quote and custom color options.
This urn can be made of off white stoneware clay and you can can select the more colorful glazes that I have samples of shown on the porcelain clay in the listing photos. The glazes will be similar but not exact.
Custom made just for you to hold pet ashes or use instead to hold special pet memorial mementos like a pet collar. Glazed only at top above the top line of text. Hand impressed lettering writing a quote of your selection on the front side and spelling the name of your pet on back side. A date or dates can be added under the name if you would like. Cork will be custom fitted to opening, but please secure urn cork stopper with glue (such as gorilla glue, or super glue).
Please specify in notes to seller box of the order transaction when you purchase: the pet NAME as you'd like it written, if you'd prefer a DATE under the name written in the format that you'd like, your custom QUOTE for the other side of the urn (please count the letters in the quote and make sure they fit based on your urn and listing size), selected CLAY color and selected GLAZE color. The text can be in all lowercase letters, all uppercase or can be capitalized like a name or sentence, please specify your preference and write it exactly as you'd like me to impress it. This urn can only fit a certain number of letters, please check the character count below against your selected urn size to be sure it will fit. If you have less letters, there is also a cheaper "half-quote" urn option or a name/date only urn option. Customizations beyond these are possible, please message me if you have a special idea you'd like to discuss.
Urns are made of colored stoneware with glaze color that you specify, see the photos for color choices, custom requests from non current glazes also available based on other current items you see in the vitrifiedstudio etsy shop. Only the upper portion that is glazed will be the glaze color that you select, the lower portion will remain the unglazed stoneware clay. All sizes and proportions are approximate and will vary slightly as they are all handmade.The text on the piece is hand impressed with individual letter stamps (not engraved by computer), so the stamping and spacing and justification/ centering of the text will all have a hand impressed, and imperfect quality to it, as seen in the photos of all of urn samples.
I have added an option for colored text, please select this option if you would also like the glaze to be infilled into the text. This works best when the glaze and clay are contrasting colors. There is no charge for this option and you can select your choice of colors for the text glaze. On the lighter colored clays, a darker glaze in the text might leave some residue around the text from the text glaze application process.
Off white colored stoneware clay with sunflower glaze is shown in the first, this is shown with the glaze in text option as well as a special requested heart shape. I have a paw print, a 4 leaf clover and a heart shape available at special request.
The white porcelain clay urns can be found in separate listings, as they cost more for me to make due to the delicate nature of the clay during the drying process.

4.5" D x 6" H - Size Medium Large (For animal weight up to 60 pounds) (up to 100 characters)
5.5" D x 6.5" H - Size Large (For animal weight up to 110 pounds) (up to 135 characters)
The character count includes spaces. Please be sure to count the number of characters in your quote before ordering. I can sometimes fit more characters on an urn but the text might wrap more on the back side, or go much higher up the face of the urn if you exceed this character count.

These are handmade and do not have industrial perfection. small imperfections are all a part of these handmade pieces. These glazes are food safe and lead free. as with all handmade ceramics, I do not recommend putting them in the microwave, oven or dishwasher. They are handmade of very limited quantity, so please use them with care. avoid contact with staining foods on unglazed exterior surfaces.
