Stoneware clay collared canister urn with glaze color of your choice only at top above the text. hand impressed lettering spelling the name of your pet, date on back side at no extra charge if you'd like. Cork will be fitted to opening, but please secure urn cork stopper with glue.
Please specify in notes when you order the pet name,date in the format that you'd like and glaze color selection. Please specify if you would like the text to be capitalized, all caps, or all lowercase. Clay and glaze options shown in fifth photo. the text is impressed by hand and the spacing and impressions will not be perfect. they are not computer generated but hand impressed.
Urns are made of colored stoneware with glaze color that you specify see the fifth photo for color choices, custom requests also available based on other items you see in the vitrifiedstudio etsy shop. The porcelain clay urns can be found in separate listings, as they cost more for me to make due to the delicate nature of the clay during the drying process. Only the upper portion that is glazed will be the glaze color that you select, the lower portion will remain the unglazed stoneware clay. proportions of urns will vary as each is handmade and unique.
I have added an option for colored text, please select this option if you would also like the glaze to be infilled into the text. This works best when the glaze and clay are contrasting colors. There is no charge for this option.
this urn is shown with rusty orange on sand colored stoneware. the urn in the third photo is french grey on sand colored stoneware. the urn in the fourth photo shows the glaze in text option and is the brown clay with the white glaze.

these are handmade and do not have industrial perfection. small imperfections are all a part of these handmade pieces. these glazes are food safe and lead free. as with all handmade ceramics, I do not recommend putting them in the microwave, oven or dishwasher. they are handmade of very limited quantity, so please use them with care. avoid contact with staining foods on unglazed exterior surfaces.
