Stoneware clay custom half- quote collared canister urn with glaze only at top above the text. Hand impressed lettering spelling the name of your pet, as well as your custom quote or text on the opposite side of the vessel. Cork will be fitted to opening, but please secure urn cork stopper with glue. Please specify in notes when you order the pet name, your quote up to 20-60 characters (see below), and glaze color selection. Name can be in all lowercase letters, all uppercase or can be capitalized, please specify your preference.
The urn in the photo is the off white stoneware with dove grey glaze.
Please specify any custom quote or text for on the urn. The urn in this photo chose to use a pet name on one side and a short quote that they custom requested to be higher on the back side. If you would like to have a longer quote, please chose a different listing. This is for a quote that is half as long as the standard quote urns. if you would like to have less text on the urn (just a name and a short version of a date on the back side), please chose an urn listing from this etsy shop that is for a non-quote urn. Please check the character count of your quote with the size urn, this quote shown has 65 characters/spaces and will only fit on a size large urn.
Urns are made of colored stoneware with glaze color that you specify see the third photo for color choices, custom requests also available based on other items you see in the vitrifiedstudio etsy shop. Additional glaze options seen in fourth photo (on sand colored stoneware and on off white colored stoneware). The porcelain clay urns can be found in separate listings, as they cost more for me to make due to the delicate nature of the clay during the drying process. Only the upper portion that is glazed will be the glaze color that you select, the lower portion will remain the unglazed stoneware clay. proportions of urns will vary as each is handmade and unique.

3.25" x 4.25" - Size Small (For animal weight up to 25 pounds) (up to 30 characters)
4" D x 5.5" H - Size Medium (For animal weight up to 50 pounds) (up to 40 characters)
4.5" D x 6" H - Size Medium Large (For animal weight up to 70 pounds) (up to 50 characters)
5.5" D x 6.5" H - Size Large (For animal weight up to 120 pounds) (up to 65 characters)
The character count includes spaces. The more text you have, the less space there will be above the text for me to glaze. I glaze down to the above the top line of the text. Please count the number of characters in your quote before ordering.
All sizes and proportions are approximate and will vary slightly as they are all handmade.

these are handmade and do not have industrial perfection. small imperfections are all a part of these handmade pieces. these glazes are food safe and lead free. as with all handmade ceramics, I do not recommend putting them in the microwave, oven or dishwasher. they are handmade of very limited quantity, so please use them with care. avoid contact with staining foods on unglazed exterior surfaces.
